Hi Ian, thanks for taking the time to share your feedback with us! It's wonderful to hear you received excellent service during your shop with us. With regards to the slight incline, the fixings are adjustable to be able to tilt the shelf upwards to counteract against weight on top of the shelf. The fixing pins are off-centre to the screws so if you rotate them you can adjust the way the shelf fits.
