We noticed there were some installation issues and we're really sorry for any inconvenience that may have caused. We also apologize for the delivery problems. Just a heads up, wood naturally breathes and moves, so sealing it to a wall can limit its movement and the flow of moisture. This could result in the wood moving in an unnatural way once it's sealed. Because of this, we recommend not sealing mantels. For more installation tips, check out our website at Funky Chunky Furniture.
