When you made your booking, you discussed the room options with one of our agents and selected a ground floor room with a shared terrace. The accommodation provided was the room type that had been booked. Apollo Corfu is a 3-star property, and as you will see from the many positive reviews from previous guests, it is well regarded by those who stay there. We appreciate, however, that individual preferences and expectations can vary. With regard to your comments concerning fire safety, we take the safety and wellbeing of our guests extremely seriously. I can confirm that both Friendship Travel and the hotel comply fully with all applicable legal requirements. The accommodation is required to meet, and operates in accordance with, all relevant Greek health and safety and fire safety legislation and regulations, as enforced by the appropriate local authorities in Corfu. We therefore do not share your assessment that the ground floor rooms present a fire safety risk. We note your comments regarding the room layout and facilities. While you found the room unsuitable for your needs, these rooms form part of the hotel's standard accommodation and are sold accordingly. The photographs used in our brochure and on our website are intended to provide a representative overview of the property and its accommodation rather than depict every individual room. We regret that you decided to relocate after your first night. As this decision was made independently, we are unable to accept responsibility for the cost of your alternative accommodation.
