Hi there, I am sorry to hear that you feel dissatisfied. I have looked into your issue in more detail and I can see that you had shipped a full roll of fabric. Straightaway the dimensions of the fabric roll would have been the chargeable weight for the courier shipping price (6.30 kg) rather than the actual weight of the fabric (2.59 kg). I cannot see any email history from you notifying us about the shipping price you were being provided with for the roll of fabric. If we had been notified about the high shipping costs for your roll of fabric we would have been able to suggest having the fabric safely removed off the roll and carefully folded smaller and repacked into a smaller package which would have immediately reduced the current chargeable weight of the fabric and lowered the overall shipping price with the courier. I have done some estimated calculations from your roll of fabric and by removing the fabric off the roll, if we had been able to safely fold the fabric small enough so the chargeable weight was reduced down closer to 3-4 kg this would have lowered your courier shipping price down to between £55-£63 overall. If you do choose to ship fabric items through our services again and if the fabric is delivered to our warehouse address on a roll we would strongly advise that you contact our Customer Experience team straight away to ask for assistance with reducing the overall size of the fabric down which in turn would ensure you will pay more reasonable overall costs for shipping.
