However, the stitching should definitely not have started coming undone after the first day, especially if the bag wasn’t overloaded. That’s clearly disappointing and not what we’d expect. As explained; as much as we took the principles of Nordic Walking and developed the concept in to many programmes of walking, we made a mistake of calling it Nordic Walking. Traditional Nordic Walking is a technique focused sport, based around Cross Country Skiing being strapped to a pole. Anatomically, it is not a natural movement and being strapped to poles is not appropriate for the majority of people wanting to walk with poles. For us, the poles have always been an outdoor Cross Trainer that just like in a gym, we can adapt the use to the customer needs. The WALX poles have transformed the ability to provide a solution to the majority of users and calling it Total Body Walking is more reflective description of what we do.
