The item itself is great however, you would expect a new product especially to give as a gift to have a tag. as it did not, it looks used or not new

We are sorry the tag was removed on your item. We do take off tags going into hampers and being sent as gifts but we usually leave tags on items bought individually. I have flagged it with the packing team as this was a mistake. All our items are brand new and out of the packaging and are sent out wrapped in tissue paper.
