Customer service and care.

Thank you for taking the time to provide a review, all feedback is important to us. Having investigated this further I can see that the direct debit was in submission with the bank, so we were unable to cancel this. As soon as the payment was made we were able to provide you with a refund and the policy was cancelled from the inception date. Whilst we endeavour to address any banking issues as soon as possible, we do have to work with how the banks process payments, and if it is in submission they will not allow a payment to be returned. I do hope this clarifies why the payment was taken.
