Hi Sophie, We understand that claim rejections are upsetting, but our decision making is applied fairly and consistently in line with the policy terms and conditions. There are unfortunate occasions when policy wording requirements are not met, meaning that there is no cover in place. We make every effort to ensure that our policy holders are aware of the policy requirements for things such as bicycle security, and would always invite you to contact us directly if you're ever unsure.

Claim rejections are very rare, and we appreciate that they are a difficult decision to accept, but our decision making is applied fairly and consistently.

All of our Feefo reviews are invite-only, meaning only genuine policy holders are able to leave us a review on this platform. An initial response was issued by your Bikmo claims handler within 2 hours of the claim being submitted last Thursday. Thank you for providing the additional information requested by the handler, this is currently being processed and an update on the status of your claim will be provided by the end of the day. We apologise an agent was unavailable to take your call, our hold times are limited to 2 minutes to avoid long delays. Your claims handler has been notified and will respond to your request as soon as possible.
