Hi Jordan, The locking requirements must be met for a bike to be covered when left unattended. We provide these multiple times during the policy purchase, and also provide a link to them in the policy welcome email. These requirements are essential, to ensure consistency for all customers, and this also includes using Sold Secure lock ratings too. Our FCA regulation makes sure that we treat our customers fairly, which is why we have to apply the policy wording in a fair and consistent manner. Claim rejections are very rare, and we appreciate that they are difficult decisions to accept, but our decision-making is applied fairly and consistently.
