Hi Daman, Thanks for your review. It's a shame to hear you're unhappy with your mat. As mentioned on our website, when new and before weathering, Cape Cod mats have a surface sheen. During this time, we recommend you place securely on a non-slip and non-polished surface to aid slip resistance. Sadly, I can't find any details that this issue has been raised to us prior to this review. Good Afternoon, I am sorry to hear how upset you are. Turtle Mat backings are anti-slip and engineered to minimise movement as much as possible; however we cannot guarantee there will be no movement as there are so many different floor finishes and carpet finishes and piles.
