We did infact try to contact you on several occasions with reference to this order. We did actually leave an anwserphone message on the number you provided to tell you that rather than leave your order undelivered for Christmas we were making this substitution and that you could return the goods for exchange or refund using the freepost label. We also indicated the substitution on your invoice. I would like to stress that we carried out this substitution because we did not want to leave you without a gift for Christmas and that we did try to contact you.
