We use harvest figures to estimate initial availability. Because we had a limited acreage of Rose Gold we set the limit at 1-pound sacks to allow the greatest number of gardeners to grow this popular variety. We recently finished pre-grading our Rose Gold crop and it had an excellent packout. This generated additional supplies from our early estimate which has now allowed us to also offer 2.5-pound sacks. I contacted Wood Prairie Farm about my order quantity. I had calculated that I would have paid $1.01 more for 2, 2.5 lb. jRose Gold If they had been available when I originally ordered, plus, I would have owed more in shipping for the extra weight. I was prepared to pay this amount at the very least. After I talked to them, they shipped two more pounds of Rose Gold to make my order equal the five pounds I needed. They did not charge any extra for either the product or for shipping the extra two pounds of potatoes. That was more than fair. Thank you!
