I'm sorry that this order was delayed and missed your son's birthday. We work hard with our suppliers to keep all our wines in stock; however, consignments do occasionally get delayed due to factors beyond our control (such as adverse weather or customs). In this instance stock did not arrive as anticipated and a substitution was made. This is not the service we normally provide, and I have organised a full refund of the order as an apology.
