Hello, many thanks for taking the time to leave us your feedback. The carrier has deemed your shipment to be much larger or heavier than declared so unfortunately we do have to bill the difference. We make it very clear on our website that should any items be heavier or larger, additional charges will be due. Every courier you work with, whether it be directly or through a website like ParcelsPlease, has the same procedure in place - in fact fact some may take the charge straight away from you. We prefer to advise by email and invite you to call us for clarification.
The machines used by the parcel carriers are mm accurate so we have to go with what the carrier is telling us and bill accordingly if there are any discrepancies. It could be the item was larger than declared as opposed to heavier - the charge would apply either way, as the larger the item, the more space it takes up in a delivery van, a depot and may need to be manually handled by the carrier instead of fitting on the conveyor system.
Our team were in touch with you by email regarding this charge and I believe the matter has been resolved for this shipment.

No one has been in touch. I tried this company because they were cheaper, but we send loads of the same product and know our scales are accurate and also the size is accurate.
I suggest that whoever weighed it and measured it should go back to school and learn how to read numbers and relevant weights.
Still would never use them again and heard similar reports from other people

Very quick delivery excellent customer service. I received parcels next day the boxes had some minor wear, but there was no damage to my stuff. Would definetely recommend.
Fantastic service - The parcel was dropped at a nearby collection point in the UK and was with me at my home in France 3 days later. Superb and great value for money.
