Travelled from NYC specifically move into the property and what I found was unthinkable. None of the amendments to property had been done, even though I was told 2 days prior by Charlie that 'the places looks amazing'. The basic requirement of Marsh and Parsons of having the place cleaned wasn't even conducted (There was cigarette ash all over the floor and the place was squalid). In short, I agreed with the landlord to move my stuff back out and luckily found an amazing new place with Benham & Reeves and the experience was wonderful. Given the above, M&P still expected their fees - really playing to the worst possible stereotype of an estate agent. Anyway, luckily it all worked out well for me (apart from being out of pocket and now with huge trust issues regarding estate agents), I will never use Marsh & Parsons again - the total service and behaviour is appalling.
