Regarding the delivery by pallet trolley, I personally agree - these trolleys can be heavy and difficult to handle especially in poor weather or on uneven surfaces. Like most retailers selling palletised goods, we rely on large pallet networks covering all of the UK as having an in-house fleet is impractical unless you are Ocado or B&Q. So it is really down to the individual depot what to equip their drivers with. When visiting continental Europe, we often see delivery lorries with an electrical forklift attached to the end - the vehicle arrives, the driver lowers the forklift to the ground, unloads and moves the goods mechanically. This would be well worth introducing in the UK!
