Joints not do reliable in the steep hills but fine on the flats.

My wife and I bought a set of poles each and we have both had the same problem over 5 walks in the Salop hills in all weather. We can’t get the joints to lock fully. We have twist and a clamp types...

Hi. We're sorry to hear you are having problems. It sounds as if you just need to tighten them a little more.The bottom section is a twin lock and if tightened correctly, will withstand over 60kg of downward pressure. If they slip at all, you can just twist slightly more and it will secure.The middle section is quick lock and you can adjust the grip by opening the lever and turning the small knob to shorten the length of the thread so it claims tighter. Again, can withstand the same pressure. both mechanisms are standard on Fizan poles and we sell thousands of pairs per year without problem We will send you a video to demonstrate but let us know if still have problems

We are surprised to hear of the issue as we have sold hundreds of pairs without problem. It certainly sounds a very strange place for a glove to wear and we would welcome you to return the product and we can replace accordingly. It maybe due to using nordic straps as some are quite abrasive
