I believe you have been in touch with my colleague Josh who has hopefully been able to explain where the unfortunate issue arose with your order as, whilst we are often able to offer the option to pre-pay customs taxes, we do have a minimum amount which this applies for and your order fell under this threshold. We will however look into making this distinction clearer for our international customers to hopefully avoid any issues with future orders. You mentioned that the customs fee you had to pay was EUR 11, I would be happy to offer you a credit of GBP 9.55 (at the current exchange rate) to use against future orders if you feel that would be beneficial.
