Sharp Practice…Not to be Trusted

They automatically renewed my annual car excess policy despite repeated requests from me not to do so.

We send a renewal invitation in good time before the renewal date to the email address we hold on file, this confirms that we will automatically renew the policy. Hello Charli, I understand your point about automatic renewal but I contacted you on receiving your invitation renewal and informed you that I would not be renewing and specifically asked that you removed me from automatic renewal. Needless to say you then took a payment some 2 weeks before my renewal date. Not acceptable and does to me feel like sharp practice. Jim Pattison
