Contours Holidays Omdömen

Thank you very much for the in-depth review of the Coast to Coast Walk. The trail is in fact undergoing a big signage upgrade in the process of becoming a recognised National Trail, so I suspect that's why you saw such variety between the shiny new installed-this-year waymarkers and the outgoing lot! It's a huge project on such an epic trail, but we expect the work to be complete early in 2026. We're glad our GPX was useful in navigating those sections not yet upgraded.

We're glad the Alternative Coast to Coast proved to be a good alternative to Wainwright's route - we've always been big fans of this lesser known option - and that our arrangements all went to plan. Thanks very much for your review.

It's always good to know one of our stile-free routes has spared another walker from any steep ascents! Thank you very much for leaving a review of the Kennet and Avon Canal, and including those photos - we particularly loved seeing the swan nesting.

Thank you for taking the time to rate the Dartmoor Way Highlights tour.

The hills in Wales are certainly no joke! We're glad to hear you surmounted them regardless and had a great time on Glyndwr's Way.

We're pleased you enjoyed the North Downs Way and that the tweaks to your itinerary all worked well.

We think that variety might be one of our favourite things about Offa's Dyke, right up there with the big views and the general remoteness. Thanks very much for leaving a review!

Thank you very much for the praise for our service - we're pleased your walk went so well!

Thank you very much for leaving a review for the South Downs Way. We love your photos and we're glad you found this western half of the route so pleasant and varied.

Pembrokeshire looks really excellent under the sun like that; thank you for sending your snap! We're glad your holiday went well, and I'm sorry to hear about those missed miles. Usually we recommend our customers retrace their steps by reversing the directions from the trail when they head back out the next morning; I apologise if that wasn't made clear, or if something in our formatting could be improved to make that solution more apparent. We're always very eager to adapt to feedback on our printed materials, so any extra details you could provide would be hugely appreciated - I'm sorry it's a little late in the day to sort this particular issue for you personally. Thanks very much again for leaving a review, and we're glad you found Pembrokeshire so enjoyable.
