Thank you for taking the time to provide such detailed feedback. We are pleased to read that the booking process was straightforward and that you enjoyed your time in Türkiye, particularly in Istanbul and Cappadocia. We are sorry to read about the lack of communication regarding changes to the itinerary, particularly the cancellation of the Whirling Dervish experience. We understand how disappointing it must have been to discover this only after asking about it, especially as it was an experience you were expecting to be included. We also appreciate your frustration regarding the confusion around what was included in the Cappadocia experience and the need for several guests to contact Contiki before the payment issue was resolved. We are pleased that the matter was ultimately rectified but recognise that it should have been clearer from the outset. Your comments about the overall itinerary are also understood. Türkiye offers a rich cultural and culinary experience, and we appreciate your suggestion that the trip could incorporate more opportunities to engage with local culture through experiences such as traditional performances, local dining and hands on activities. We will ensure these comments are shared with the relevant teams. We also acknowledge your feedback regarding the group atmosphere. While we appreciate your positive comments about the Trip Managers' knowledge, we understand that having more organised social opportunities, particularly at the beginning of the trip and at the end, could have helped the group connect and create a stronger sense of camaraderie. Your comments regarding the absence of evening activities and a farewell dinner are noted. We are also sorry to read that the included meals did not provide the authentic Turkish cuisine you had hoped to experience. We understand your disappointment, particularly given Türkiye's strong culinary traditions, and appreciate that the meals you found independently provided a different experience. Thank you again for choosing Contiki and for sharing such thoughtful and constructive feedback. Your comments provide valuable insight into the areas that could be strengthened, while we are pleased to read that you still had a good overall trip and enjoyed the highlights of Istanbul and Cappadocia.

Thank you for taking the time to provide such detailed and considered feedback following your Turkish Delight tour. We are pleased to read that you enjoyed Türkiye as a destination, with Cappadocia being a particular highlight. We are, however, sorry to read that several aspects of the overall experience did not meet your expectations. We understand your comments regarding the balance of the itinerary. While the historical sites form an important part of the experience, we appreciate your wish for greater opportunities to engage with contemporary Turkish culture, along with more meaningful free time and a less demanding pace. Your feedback regarding the long days and time spent travelling by coach is noted and will be shared with the relevant teams. We are also sorry to read about your accommodation concerns, including the room conditions, bedding, noise levels and instances where rooms smelled of smoke. We recognise that comfortable accommodation is an important part of being able to rest after full days of touring, and we appreciate you bringing these specific concerns to our attention. Your comments regarding the dining arrangements are also understood. We appreciate that you were hoping to experience more authentic Turkish cuisine rather than predominantly Western hotel buffets, set menus and roadside stops. Türkiye has a rich culinary heritage, and we understand your disappointment that the included meals did not provide more opportunities to experience this. We also acknowledge your concerns regarding the ferry delay and the communication surrounding the optional farewell dinner and show. We understand how frustrating it would have been to learn about the cancellation only on the final full day, leaving little opportunity to make alternative arrangements. Clear and timely communication is important, particularly when itinerary arrangements change. Your feedback regarding the welcome and farewell arrangements is also noted. We understand that the absence of a proper farewell, together with the early conclusion of the welcome dinner, left the end of your trip feeling abrupt. We will ensure these comments are shared with the relevant teams for consideration. We are sorry to read about your experience with the Free Time Add-Ons. We appreciate your point that guests who choose not to participate should still have meaningful alternatives rather than feeling that they have little choice but to remain on the Coach. Your comments regarding traveller autonomy during these periods are valuable. Most importantly, we are sorry to read about the difficulties you experienced when you became unwell and were trying to access a pharmacy. We understand how concerning and frustrating it would have been to repeatedly request a brief stop for basic medication and not have that request accommodated, particularly after arriving at the previous hotel after pharmacy operating hours. We take your comments regarding traveller care seriously and will ensure this feedback is brought to the attention of the appropriate teams. Thank you again for choosing Contiki and for sharing such comprehensive feedback. While we are pleased that you enjoyed experiencing Türkiye, we recognise that the concerns you have raised affected your overall experience. Your observations regarding accommodation, pacing, dining, communication, organisation, Free Time Add-Ons and traveller care provide valuable insight into areas where the experience could be strengthened.

We understand your comments regarding the number of activities included within the trip. We appreciate that you may have been expecting more inclusions based on your previous travel experiences. Thank you again for choosing Contiki and for taking the time to share your experience with us.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We are pleased to read that you had such a memorable trip and enjoyed seeing the Big Five on multiple occasions. It is also great to read about your experience camping in the Serengeti, including the unforgettable experience of hearing lions outside your tent, as well as meeting the Maasai community. We appreciate your positive comments regarding the balloon safari and are pleased that you felt this was a worthwhile experience. We also understand your preference for smaller groups and your suggestion that eight seater vehicles be used for all safari experiences. We recognise that smaller groups can provide a more personal experience and appreciate you sharing this perspective. Thank you also for your feedback on the night safari and the accommodation options. We appreciate your comments and will ensure your suggestions are shared with the relevant teams for consideration. Thank you again for choosing Contiki and for taking the time to share your experience with us.
