I took up the sales offer and paid. The shoes weren't available and a refund was made. I received a letter of apology but that doesn't remove the disappointment of no shoes.

You had a free return label with the shoes. Please use this to send the shoes back to us free of charge. If you are unable to find the label we can arrange to get this sent on to you again.
Fantastic offer. My only issue was that one item was removed from my basket, I assume that the last one was sold while I was shopping. I also had several emails asking for me to shop for the item...
