I find the easiest way of identifying the nibs is firstly from the general size ie is it a big or small nib and then by the shape of the hole in the nib. They are all different. I have thought of sending the nibs sellotaped onto the nib guide but then that would probably destroy the guide when you lifted the sellotape. Perhaps laminate the nib guide (which is Blot's design and not from Mitchell/Gillott)and then sellotape the nibs onto the guide. Leonardt/Manuscript have a long nib box which contains and protects their sets of nibs. I wonder if I can obtain some empty boxes..? I will ponder on your remarks and see if I can improve our presentation. I too have a large magnifying glass to identify nibs!

Thank you for your prompt reply. An empty nib box sounds ideal so if you can source such a thing, please let me know. Your comments on how to identify the nibs by shape of hole and general size are helpful but I'm not sure about sellotaping the nibs to the guide even if it is laminated. Will think about that. I don't have a laminator anyway so would have to get this done somewhere. At the moment, I have rediscovered an old wooden pencil case, which my uncle sent me from New Zealand about 60 years' ago! It has a swing top and two sections inside so I have kept the nibs in the plastic bags they were sent in, put the holders with the bag of nibs pertaining to each holder, in each section and I hope they will be OK.
Excellent nibs. Quick service. I do wonder whether the nibs are protected enough in a bag envelope , but they made it through Royal Mail without being squashed.
