I am sorry your penholder broke. Maybe it was a faulty Mapping penholder.
I have not had any other problems with these penholders. I will send you a replacement. There is no other alternative to these Mapping penholders as they don't fit standard penholders.
I am sorry for any inconvenience and the disappointment of something not working as it should.
