Regarding organisation on briefings, they have informed us that customers are not called by name for this. You are instead advised on the area to wait for the brief and the briefer does a couple of general shout outs for anyone waiting for the XXXX briefing.
They have consulted with the event teams from the day you attended, and confirmed that no-one else from your session had missed the briefing, and the person who called them out does speak in a loud voice.
Regarding the attitudes of staff on the desk, they have advised that they would be interested to know which desk it was, as our point of contact was on one of these. As these are understandably busy on the day, it may be that they were unable to answer a query that was better answered by the sign-in team.
