Everything went as planned. For example when we didnt turn up to the last stop as my son wasn't well so we stayed an extra day in one place the place we overstayed in got a call to say where were we? and had we left? We also left some shoes behind on the second night and a day or so later they appeared a few stays down the line.Well organised guys.
The b and b's were very good to be honest given the almost total lack of choice you have in little villages and towns. they were entertainingly quirky, even eccentric at times but remember this is rural England not the Holiday Inn and the places we stay in can be 500 years old. I liked it. For the record I didnt actually know the Cotswalds were hills. The countryside was at times very New Zealandish. Moreton on Marsh looked very interesting and it was a shame not to start from there.I like England its very like here in attitudes and humor. Highlight probably Sudeley castle and watching the World cup in a wee pub in painswick that tall people have to duck under the doorway to get in. Some people commented that there could be the odd loo.
