Arrived promptly but grains remain inactive despite following the instructions

I have checked and we have several emails from yourself in regard to your order. None of these emails mention any problems with the grains. At this time of year the water grains can be hard as you need a consistent temperature of 25C and the overnight temperatures often drop to well below this. Insulating your jar or moving it somewhere warmer will get them going. It sounds like they are dormant as they are too cold.

I have checked and although we have corresponded with you i cannot seeany where you mention an issue with the grains.
At this time of year the water kefir is harder as it requires a consistent temperature of 25C and the overnight temperatures often drop well below this. When the grains are too cold they will become dormant, the colder they are the more dormant. As the brew is not going moldy it clearly is doing something just very very slowly and this will be due to temperature. Move the grains somewhere warmer or insulate the jar and make sure you add the dried fruits for the minerals and once the grains wake up in the warmth they will start brewing and growing. At this time of year this is a common issue.
