Sooooo convenient

This is sooooo convenient. No Gatwick crowds to contend with. An hour and a half from Jersey airport and you're landing in Palma. Flights there and back were on time. Liked that could pay a deposit...

Thank you for letting us know about the check-in at Palma, usually they are open in good time for the transfer buses arriving and we will look into why that didn't happen this time as we appreciate how frustrating this can be. In relation to the pre-allocation of seats, this is something we would like to be able to introduce but sadly isn't an option at this stage. We hope overall you enjoyed your holiday in Majorca.

Air Europa were very good. However, the ground handling at Jersey airport needs attention. Our outward flight was delayed - the pilot was very apologetic and attributed the delay to lack of ground...

Check in at Palma Airport took over 1h30 - that is simply unacceptable in today’s age with online checkin and bag drop facilities. People with small children or those who are frail cannot be expected...

Many thanks for your feedback. We're sorry to hear that you had a long wait for check in at Palma, and this is something we will address with the airport. Unfortunately as a small charter operation working with several different airlines, we do not have the facility for pre-check in and bag drop at present.

Lost one star because flights were late. Outward was delayed over an hour which effected our onward travel from the airport. Return flight delayed by about half an hour.

Not impressed

The boarding passes did not print off properly and we had to wait by security for more passes, my son did not receive the pack enc colours, bag and drawing book, we did not get the voucher to check...

Many Thanks for your feedback. We have already discussed your hotel voucher and welcome pack by email and I am looking into these matters with our ground handling team in Majorca. I am sorry to hear about the confusion with transfers and will also discuss with them how we can make it clearer in future. Our transfers vary depending on how many people we have arriving or leaving each resort on a given date, and can be either taxi, minibus or coach. I'm sorry to hear that your son didn't receive our goodie bag. I'll speak to Jersey Airport who are responsible for distributing them, but to make up for this you are welcome to collect one from our office ahead of your next trip away, or just to enjoy during the school holidays. Please let me know via enquiries@flydirect.je if you'd like to take this up, and I'll prepare a bag.
