However, I feel that your 1 star review is unjustified and feel its important to clarify a few points as we take our service level very seriously and also strive to provide our customers with the best experience. You are correct that a mistake was made on the advert and the part furnished property was advertised including a double bed. You have failed to mention that the property was viewed when it was vacant and no bed was present on the viewing and no request was made to clarify if a bed would be provided. However, this was a mistake on our part not having updated the advert since the last let, so once notified of the mistake on a Saturday afternoon after you moved in, we arranged a double bed to be delivered to the property on the Monday. With regards to the property not having a legally required safety feature, a contractor had been instructed to replace a faulty smoke alarm at the start of the tenancy and this was replaced with a new alarm. You then reported that the new alarm was not working by sending in a video of you trying to test the alarm via our online maintenance platform. We advised that you had not held down the test button for a long enough period, but sent a contractor back to the property anyway to double check. It was found that there was no issue with the alarm and that you had indeed not held the test button down long enough to sound the alarm. Again, I apologise that your experience so far has not met your standards and we will strive to continue to deliver our usual level of customer service going forward. Ross Harding - Branch Manager
