Thank you very much for writing a review, and we're glad you enjoyed your holiday on the whole! We have a range of dogs in our office who head out to test our dog-friendly trails. This particular walk was undertaken by our chocolate labrador, Gino. He's signficantly heavier than 20kg, but as a veteran walker who's completed the South West Coast Path, his willingness to cross stiles under his own steam makes a huge difference. We very much recommend that dog-walkers practice crossing different types of stiles with their dog before embarking on one of our long-distance walks - there's more information about this available on our dog-friendly page.

We're glad to hear our service worked well for you. As one of the most dramatic trails in the UK, West Highland Way does set the bar exceedingly high - right up at the top of the Devil's Staircase! Favouring a lower route, the Great Glen Way is much mellower in character. If you're still chasing that West Highland Way high, the Lake District has a lot to offer, and we're also big fans of the dramatic feel of the Coast to Coast Walk, Offa's Dyke Path and the Cleveland Way. There's always the Pennine Way, too, if you want to get into really remote territory!
