Just as a note, the aperture is 210mm wide which is the same as an A4 Envelope. We designed it to be wide enough to take a normal envelope, but at the same time it is made to fit nicely into a standard gate pillar.

Many thanks for your feedback. Really sorry you were not happy with our service. The handles you ordered were the Pewter finish. We only stock the Black handles and this is what was showing as "in stock" on our web site. The Pewter finish has to be specially hand done by Kirkpatrick. We did immediately reply to you email with a lead time (which was about 10 days), after phoning Kirkpatrick. You should have received this email on the 15th August, if you could just check for us. It may have gone into your spam filter. We get items made as quickly as they can be done, but some specially made items do take a little longer.
