Thanks for your feedback. It looks like the airer you currently have isn't one of ours. But as a bit of advice to keep your laths looking nice over the years you just need to let them have 1 or 2 days a week with no wet clothes on to allow the laths to dry out. This will keep them nice for many years and we recommend you don't paint them or varnish them as the paint could come off onto your clothes, however, you can sand them down if necessary to restore them back to their original condition. Our wood is specially kiln dried and is specifically made this way for our clothes airers. Many thanks
