Our rubber grippers are an optional accessory designed for customers who prefer their wooden laths to be held very firmly in place, especially if they choose not to leave the recommended 10cm overhang from the cast iron ends. When installed with the correct overhang, the laths are secure without the need for grippers so they’re not a required part of the airer, just a personal preference for some customers. We provide them separately to offer flexibility rather than include a cost that not everyone needs.
