Thanks for taking the time to leave your feedback, though I am surprised and shocked to hear of your dissatisfaction with our service.

You are correct that we require customers to provide the IMEI number of the phone they want to insure in advance of them making a claim. This is an anti-fraud measure, and something that most gadget insurance companies do. Ever since the website launched we've collected this unique identifier during checkout to ensure that customers are covered straight away.

Looking at the record of your order I can see that you did enter an IMEI number into this field - but it doesn't appear to be a valid one as it contains a lot of zeros. Hopefully you've already contacted our policy administrator to correct this on your policy, but if not I would encourage you to do so as soon as possible on 0203 794 9328 or claims@supercoverinsurance.com to ensure that you are covered.

Regarding the cost of our insurance, I am disappointed to hear that you think our cover is expensive. Our priority is to provide reliable cover to our customers, and occasionally this means that we aren't the absolute cheapest. That said, we come pretty close - and we also have very low excess charges compared to our UK competitors.
