Dear Simon, Had you read the terms and conditions of Ticketplan, you would have known that ticket cancellation protection does not give you the right to cancel without a valid reason. Like with any insurance policy, there are terms and conditions clearly displayed when booking and there is a process to claim your money back after a valid proof of not being able to attend the show is submitted. Failure to read the terms can lead to incorrect assumptions as seen in your case.
