Dear Krystal, I am so sorry for the mixup. Actually we received a fraud notification on that order from our payment processor 2CO and it was cancelled for that reason. You are absolutely correct in your premise that there was poor follow up here if in fact that order was genuine. We apologize unreservedly for any inconvenience and distress caused by all this. If at any point you would like to order from us again (and in view of your past experience, we totally understand if you would prefer not to) we would be happy to give you a special discount on any item you select by way of apology. Photographs are more blue than the stone

I think the stone is very nice. I have seen and purchased Tanzanite stones, and this is the nicest one, it is the most expensive as well. Everything went smoothly from a service perspective.

Thank you very much indeed for your review and positive comments. Regarding the color of the stone, we photograph in north daylight lighting (around 1500 to 1600 kelvin) which is the grading standard. In this light, this quality of Tanzanite color saturation will look deep blue. As you introduce any element of incandescent light the reds and purples will flash through. Perhaps take another look at the stone under a purer white light. Thanks again for taking the time to post a review and for your kind remarks.
