Regarding the packaging - the metal box and seals are actually government applied by our Ministry of Mining and are required by law. All our shipments are inspected by government gemologists and certified and issued an export permit. We then pay a royalty on the value which is transmitted to the mining communities monthly by the government. We are highly regulated and every export reconciled and royalties audited quarterly. This is why the government seals the shipments so securely. Regarding the issue you mention about the stone looking different than the website, we use color corrected monitors and north daylight gemstone grading standard - 500 kelvin for photography and video. All images are confirmed on a special bank of 3 monitors prior to loading online. Despite these precautions, images are subject to different monitor settings when viewed and perhaps this was the cause of the disparity you witnessed. Since seeing your review, we double checked the imagery and it appears accurate for this gemstone - a very well saturated intense orange Mandarin garnet. These very intense, top grade stones are rare and miners demand top dollar for them. They carry a premium price tag in the market. I hope this puts your mind to rest.
