I'm truly very sorry to hear about your experience and how it didn't work out well at all. It's really upsetting to hear especially as a Concierge who's main role exist is to help Suiteness guests from the time they arrive onto our website to even after they leave the hotel property.

Deposits are standard across all hotel properties as hotel's way of protecting themselves from guests who, unlike you, may abuse the room and put their inventory at risk. This is a credit card hold that is not charged and released upon check-out given the room is in great condition. We're working on attaching this across all booking pages to make sure any Suiteness users are informed of everything in involved during a stay. We do include any and all official charges that will be issued upon arrival (such as resort fees) however I understand this is still far from ideal.

I really appreciate you taking the time to let us know this feedback, especially as a growing start-up with our main mission to encourage everyone to take more vacations by making it stress-free and easy with a 24/7 Concierge team, always available and waiting to help anyone and everyone.

I'm really sorry again for your stay and that we made you feel offended and considering taking legal action. That is definitely not how we want to make our guests feel or aspire to do with a 24/7 team. We're always here to help however there are policies outside of Suiteness that we have to work with which can make things both guests and us frustrated. As we grow and guests continue to use Suiteness, we hope to control more of the process after you leave our website to ensure a great experience truly from start to finish.

Not getting what you want is the last thing we'd ever want anyone to experience, especially something as important as bedding. Sofa beds are a still a detail we're working to stress to hotel properties the importance of confirming when they join our inventory on Suiteness. This is extremely upsetting when any miscommunication occurs as it makes traveling for guests like you less than ideal.

Thankfully, I see you were able to connect with a Concierge during your trip who was able to work with you to get you compensated for this trouble. I know nothing could make up for a trip that was less than ideal however we hope that it showed you a token of our apologies. We'd never want anyone to experience a stay that we wouldn't want to take ourselves.

Thank you so much for using Suiteness and your feedback. I took a better look into your reservations with us to see where our Concierges could improve to ensure better stays for you and other guests.

Certain hotel properties do require a deposit (and sometimes things like resort fees) that we're unable to collect on our end and due to that, we cannot use our Affirm partnership towards those payments or payment holds. It can be frustrating, especially since the last thing we'd ever want anyone to do is to have multiple payments for the same reservation. It's top of mind for us and we're glad we have guests like you who continue to use our services, give us feedback, and allow us to continue to improve the experience from the minute you go onto our website to when you arrive.

We hope as we grow as a start-up, we'll be able to take control and help out with even more things such as using our Affirm partnership towards other suite-related payments. In the meantime, we do all we can with a 24/7 team ready to help and guide you through anything from reservation questions to dinner recommendations.
