The sales consultant was not honest tried to impose a high excess on my policy but only removed it when I contact another broker not very happy with that need trust

We are concerned to read your comments with regards to the increased excess on your policy. We would like to address your concerns and clarify that our sales executives do not have the access or facility to apply or remove any excesses for our package policies, this would solely be the insurers decision. There are a number of reasons for an insurer applying an increased excess, such as non compliance of the insurers security requirements or previous claims history; there will also be reasons why the insurer may have agreed to reduce the excess, one of which could have been the prospect of you taking your business elsewhere.
