Please be advised that we note from your account that you did not contact us regarding this matter. We are sorry to hear this as we would have liked the opportunity to assist you with this situation. Please be advised that tarnishing does occur naturally overtime and wear with Sterling Silver. Further, if left undisturbed or stored in a cold damp environment, tarnishing may be enhanced. It has also been found that many household products, such as soaps, hairspray, perfumes and moisturiser may also cause tarnishing. We can advise that any tarnishing that occurs can be removed by frequent polishing of the item. We do not, however, recommend silver dips. As the item has since been disposed of we would not be able to confirm that tarnishing was the cause of this and request that should you experience any further problems with our items that you contact customer services so that they can assist you.
