Originally, communication was a problem. Had difficult conversation on phone with Shield member of staff. Given wring advice about my policy. Subsequently clarified via email. Now happy.

Online purchase? Don't expect any confirmation

I renewed my policy online. most online purchases receive email confirmation within minutes. I telephoned and was told confirmation could take a couple of days (why?). Thank you for the survey...

Best insurer by far The premiums went down on renewal. Never known that!

I have been with Shield for 3 years with my camper van and cannot fault them. Excellent price, good customer service. Best insurer I've had in 37 years of motoring.
