I am sorry that what should have been a pleasant shopping experience seemed to go so wrong for you. The hoodies were on the website as a pre-order item as they had not yet arrived in stock. This could have caused the confusion if you did not notice the pre-order notification as it will still allow you to order the item. Unfortunately this doesn't seem to have been explained to you properly by the operator, if it had you may have made a different decision. I will make sure that the customer care team are made aware of this. Please accept my apologies for your disappointment. We are currently unable to offer a 'gift sending' service as the invoice which accompanies the product is also the packing note. Please accept my apologies that you are not impressed with this product. I have checked the stock in our warehouse and the cardigans in stock are 100% wool. There is a label on the inside of the left hand front panel that states this. Could I ask that you check for this label and if it is not there return the product for replacement. RNLI Shop

The website is always more up to date than the catalogue as the team can update the range on a daily basis and it could have been that you looked for the extremely popular socks after they had been removed for the new season.
