Nothing wrong at all with the insurance, but when we arrived at our car hire pick-up we were totally covered for all excesses, so in essence we didn't need this. We should have checked first.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review for our excess reimbursement insurance. Unfortunately, this is yet another example of the less scrupulous hire car companies’ tactics to try and sell you their insurance which is often 4 to 5 times as much as our reimbursement insurance. It is highly unlikely that an employee at Car Hire Company is familiar with our Policy Wording and we wouldn’t expect them to be authorised by a Regulator, such as the FCA, to provide advice on a 3rd party’s insurance. If they were familiar with our Policy Wording and they were authorised to provide advice then they would know that damage caused by you or a 3rd party is covered by our policy.
