Thank you for your review. We are delighted to read that you very much enjoyed walking in the Azores with an excellent leader. We fully appreciate your point of view regarding local expenses. We do include local transport for some of our products e.g. Adagio Holidays, Cruise & Walk, UK holidays and almost all of our long haul holidays. This is because these holidays have more fixed itineraries. The reason we haven’t included costs on short haul holidays is to ensure flexibility of the itinerary. We pride ourselves on the quality of our leaders and give them the scope to choose the right programme for any particular week based on local conditions and the general ability of the group. In addition, clients often like to opt out and do their own thing on certain days and would feel aggrieved if they had paid in advance for transport which they did not use. We do give a clear indication in the Holiday Information sheet of the suggested amount to take to cover local costs and entrance fees.
