Thanks for your feedback; it's tough for us too to reduce the duration of some of our holidays; what do we take out? Unfortunately we have to do this occasionally when airfares, taxes and exchange rates look like they're conspiring to make a holiday's price unattractive. It's always a shame, but it's sometimes the only way we can realistically continue to feature some, particularly long-haul, destinations. We do try to arrange several of our holiday sequentially, although this is currently more often to pair two one-week duration holidays than trips of a fortnight or longer, but you're right; we should look at this for our next season's programme. Regarding the walks grading, as a SS/D holiday the emphasis on this trip would be principally on sightseeing with some walks in the country between the SS and D grades. It's great to hear that in seeing that your group was keen for a fuller day out in the hills, your leader Karen was able to extend the walks. Angus Russell Planning Manager
