Hello and thanks for your feedback, which is very much appreciated. I have spoken to APC about this and they have advised that after trying to deliver on the Thursday, but there being no-one home, by the time you rang on Friday morning to arrange a convenient day/time, their vans had loaded and left the depot. Although I sympathize with your having to wait for your delivery until the Monday at the earliest, I can't really see what they could have done differently or how they could have been expected to improve on this.

We have been speaking to Tuffnells and trying to find out what went wrong in this instance, but I am afraid to say that at yet we do not have a definitive answer from them either as to why they didn't deliver, or, if there was a problem, why they didn't contact us. I understand that as the parts were delivered late, that they are no longer required, so I have arranged for a full refund and for Tuffnells to collect the items from you. As far as not using Tuffnells, unfortunately all pipe suppliers are in the same boat as Tuffnells are the ONLY nationwide carrier that will take full lengths of pipe. We do also use other carriers for smaller parcels, but usually find Tuffnells to be every bit as reliable as them. Archie, from our office, will be in touch with regards the collection, and I will ensure that we get an answer from Tuffnells so that we can put systems in place to prevent this from happening in the future. Hello, and thank you for your feedback. Your goods were sent out on Monday, after an order placed on a Saturday, for a Tuesday delivery. I have checked the carriers system (APC) and it is showing as "held at depot", which usually means that delivery has been attempted and failed. We should have been contacted by APC about this but have not been. I will follow it up with them first thing on Monday morning and see what the issue with delivery is. In the meantime I would like to apologise for the delay, but please be assured we will do all we can to rectify the matter.

Hello. I have checked with our carriers (APC) and they advise that delivery was attempted on the 24th (Tuesday) but there was no response so they dropped a contact card through. It sounds as though this may have been lost or misplaced. The parcel is being held in your local APC depot awaiting a response so they can re-arrange delivery. I have emailed you through the depot contact number and consignment number, so that you can arrange a convenient time for delivery. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
