Unfortunately, I have had to check on your claim of a $1600 saving on my cruise.
I have checked 4 websites - Ozcruising ($3430), Cruisabout ($3518), P&O($3518) and Cruise Guru ($3361). They are all indeed more expensive than my cruise price; however when I add the Certificate redemption fee ($100) and the cost of the certificates ($600) (that's for the two certificates) then it's not that much cheaper, I paid $2991 or $3341 with the cost of the certificates.
All these cruises I could have booked on line tonight for the above prices,two even gave $100 cabin credit. not sure where the $1600 comes from, but there is certainly not enough evidence to indicate a saving.
