We offer a very broad range of plain velvets at prices between £19.95 and £29.95 per metre. Generally speaking the more plush or velvety a fabric is, the more expensive it becomes as more yarn is used. The velvets in question are from the lower end of what we sell price wise and consequently have a slightly shorter and more cropped pile. This does not mean however that they will wear or perform to a lower degree than more expensive velvets - on the contrary short dense pile velvets tend to outperform heavier velvets in testing and are extremely serviceable and durable.
