There is far too much comment and not enough book reviews. Also too many of the reviews and articles read like extended 'Guardian' leaders.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry that the articles that you've read so far haven't been to your taste. We do have an extensive archive that you have access to as a subscriber so perhaps there may be some other articles there that are of more interest? Nevertheless, we hope you enjoy those articles that do feel more appropriate.

This is my first extended exposure to the LRB, after having subscribed to the NYRB for more than 40 years. They are cousins, and both are excellent.
