Hi,
Having spoken to this customer, their aim was to attempt to attain a free set of car mats by creating a scenario in which they can complain, despite there being no issue.
With the rise of companies like Amazon, who will issue refunds/replacements in almost any circumstance, it has created a new era of online buyers who like to attempt to abuse & objectify e-Commerce sellers, thinking that any form of complaint will lead to free goods/money.
Luckily, we're a bit too long in the tooth to fall for the usual scam attempts like this, and we'll continue to stand up to customers like this, not just for our sake, but for the sake of ALL small online sellers.

Hi,
The clips are designed in 2 parts, to push together in the holes.
They are made of plastic - plastic does not become 'looser' over time, it is rigid and retains shape.
Strangely, nobody else who has ever ordered off us has had an issue.
So that's 1 out of 8000 people saying that plastic clips will become 'looser' - a percentage of 0.0125%.
Mercedes-Benz also use the exact same clips for the same supplier in their mats...
